Meghan McCain has admitted she finally feels “validated” following the US election result after years of being “abused” for being a “strong conservative woman.”
McCain, daughter of the late US Senator John McCain, took to Instagram on Friday to share a photo of a map that showed an overwhelmingly red wave in the country.
The map has been circulating on many right-wing social media pages and was posted by both Elon Musk and George Santos, but it’s unclear exactly where it came from.
In addition to the map photo, he wrote an emotional caption on the back of Trump’s victory, suggesting that those on the “other side” should “take a moment and reflect” on why this may have happened.
“I can’t express how validated I feel about my politics, my values, and my record of publicly warning Democrats for over a decade that their elitism, socialism, and general social insanity are alienating the country, as well as being incredibly dangerous and anti-American at the national level,” McCain wrote.

McCain is known to not get along with Donald Trump and claimed that she did not vote for him.
“My entire adult life I have been abused simply for being a proud, strong, conservative woman who wouldn’t back down,” her message continued.
“I’ve been yelled at in restaurants, I’ve been socially ostracized almost everywhere except in conservative circles, I’ve been subjected to toxic work environments beyond all comprehension, I’ve been accused of being a traitor to my gender, and more than I have time for. to write here. All because I have refused to stay silent and I am a Republican woman.”
Citizen McCain podcast host expressed hope that this result will help foster a moment of “real reflection and realignment” for those on the left, including her own friends.
“Conservatives are not racist or sexist because we want safe cities, we love our police and military, and we want the border crisis solved,” McCain wrote.
‘We don’t want biological men competing against our girls in sports or being called breast-feeders or birth-givers. We do not want anyone to accept and spread blatant anti-Semitism in society, but especially the elites and university campuses that indoctrinate our children in Jew-hatred.
‘We believe that Israel is an ally and has the right to exist and defend itself. We are tired of paying 25% more for food this year than four years ago and being told that it is not going to happen or that it is not important. And we do not believe that flying an American flag is a sign of white supremacy.”
The former DailyMail.com columnist emphasized the fact that this was “the biggest victory for any Republican in the United States in 40 years” since Ronald Reagan.
‘Every state became more Republican except Washington state. If you are on the other side, maybe take a moment to reflect on why,” he concluded.

“I hope this country recovers and we come together, but it’s going to take all of us.”
McCain’s message comes just days after she criticized his former colleagues on The View for not having a conservative host who didn’t vote for Trump.
The Substack author was a member of the panel for four years, from 2017 to 2021.
“It’s truly bad behavior on the part of ABC News that there isn’t a single conservative woman on The View this morning who voted for Trump or who simply isn’t repulsed by his supporters to explain to America why he’s still so popular.” McCain wrote on Wednesday X.
