Meghan Markle’s ‘hippie’ hairdresser has praised the formal royal for ‘always supporting her friends’ following her appearance at the Paley Honors gala last night.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, attended the glitzy event at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills honoring her billionaire filmmaker friend Tyler Perry, godfather to three-year-old Lilibet.
The former Suits star wowed in a strapless black Oscar de la Renta dress with a sparkling front slit and a pair of Celine strappy heels at the event.
Sparkling around her neck was an exquisite Logan Hollowell diamond necklace, which she paired with rings from Lorraine Schwartz and Engender.
Kadi Lee, who runs the salon, posted a glowing praise for the former royal on Thursday.
A message posted on Highbrow Hippie’s official Instagram account read: ‘About last night… Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, attends the 2024 Paley Honors Fall Gala, honoring Tyler Perry.
‘Always brilliant, always beautiful, ALWAYS supporting her friends.’
Last month, Meghan invested in the company’s new hair wellness range, saying: “I’m so proud to be investing in (Kadi) as a friend and as a founder.”
she said Fashionable: “Kadi has mastered hair health and her Highbrow Hippie collection is a perfect reflection of that.”

The former Suits actress has become a regular customer at Highbrow Hippie since she dyed her hair there in May 2023.
Elaborating on the Duchess’ treatment, Kadi, who charges $550 for a full Balayage service, hinted that Meghan goes to the salon for regular shine treatments to maintain the health of her hair.
She wrote in the caption: ‘There’s nothing like a rich, warm brunette. For this shade, the hair is first painted gently and thinly, lightly from the roots, being careful not to lighten more than three tones of the natural color.
‘Layers of gloss are then applied and left on for a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes for maximum saturation, shine and permanence. The result is a reflective tan with natural movement.
‘The key here is to avoid that obvious highlighted look and let others wonder if the end result could, in fact, be your natural hair color. As the warm season progresses, you only need to gently touch up the highlights on the bottom layers (never on the parts) and reapply the gloss every couple of months or as needed.
“This shade is ideal for the warmer months as we enter a low maintenance period where the last thing clients want is to maintain their hair color.”

While Meghan supported her friend Tyler Perry in Beverly Hills, Prince Harry was in New York at the annual DealBook Summit, which was also attended by Jeff Bezos and Bill Clinton.
There, he revealed that he and his wife Meghan Markle have no plans to return to the United Kingdom with Archie and Lilibet.
Their individual trips are part of a ‘two-track approach’ in which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will do more alone than together, while pursuing their own passions, a friend previously told People.
These solo visits have meant the couple have only been seen together a handful of times in recent months.
