Meghan Markle stepped out on Friday to check out her local farmers’ market, days after her explosive Netflix docuseries with Prince Harry failed to garner an Emmy nomination.
The Duchess of Sussex was seen stopping at the Montecito Farmer’s Market near the couple’s $14.7 million mansion but left without her husband, exclusive DailyMail.com photos show.
Instead, the 41-year-old was accompanied by her security team and one of her beloved beagle dogs, despite market rule prohibiting dogs.
Wearing a white open-collar shirt over a camel maxi dress, black flip-flops and sunglasses, the former actress went largely unnoticed by locals as she went from store to store browsing various merchandise collections.

She picked up a bouquet of fresh flowers which she then stored in a large woven straw bag for her convenience while she continued shopping.

While Meghan managed to remain largely unnoticed during her trip to the market, she was friendly and smiled politely at the handful of locals who recognized her as her security kept an eye out.
The large bodyguard kept a safe distance from the duchess and watched over his dog as he looked around the market.
The couple have two beagles, Guy, whom Meghan adopted while still acting in 2015, and Mamma Mia, whom they rescued from an animal testing facility last summer.
They also have a Labrador named Pula.
But the former royal wasn’t the only notable face to visit the farmers’ market in the star-studded seaside city.

Prince Harry was not present at the market, but the Duchess was accompanied by her security team who kept a safe distance while she shopped.

Keith Hudson, the pastor father of Katy Perry who grew up in Santa Barbara, was also seen in the crowd shopping.
The farmers’ market is held weekly in the community, rotating along four sections of the 1100 and 1200 blocks of Coast Village Road, in Montecito’s main retail sector, according to the website.
The prosperous seaside town has become increasingly popular with Hollywood stars over the years due to its idyllic scenery and secluded homes, ideal for lovers of privacy.
Meghan’s departure comes after the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan was snubbed by Emmy voters when nominations were announced earlier this week despite its successful December debut.
The show, however, managed to score a Hollywood Critics Award nomination for Best Broadcast Nonfiction on Wednesday.

In another image, which appears to show them in warmer climates, the couple smile as they take a selfie with their pet.

Meghan and Harry have been spotted in their Montecito neighborhood in recent weeks following a series of jabs at their media empire.
The couple were seen smiling and holding hands in Santa Barbara ahead of Independence Day weekend earlier this month before being photographed again attending a local Fourth of July parade with their family.
The departure came after Buckingham Palace confirmed that the two had officially vacated Frogmore Cottage at the request of King Charles III earlier this year.
It also followed Spotify’s decision to part ways with the couple and forego a second series of Meghan’s 13-episode podcast, Archetypes, which was number one in the streaming service’s rankings when it debuted.
Spotify and Sussexes audio production company Archewell Audio issued a joint statement saying that have “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we did together.”
