Meghan Markle looked typically elegant as she spoke at her close friend Oprah Winfrey’s book club session in California.
The Duchess of Sussex, 43, opted for a chic look as she attended the event at Godmothers Bookstore in Summerland, located just miles from where she lives in Montecito, on Saturday.
To keep it chic, the mother of two kept it simple in a sleeveless collared jumpsuit by Canadian label Club Monaco, which specializes in luxury casualwear.
She paired it with minimal accessories, including her £5,000 Cartier Love bracelet, which she has owned since at least 2017, her Logan Hollowell diamond tennis necklace and Princess Diana’s £17,800 ($22,950) Cartier Tank Française watch.
To add height to her elegant look, Meghan wore her Jimmy Choo Etana 50mm sandals in tan and tortoiseshell.

The Duchess was one of several speakers to address the crowd at Godmothers bookshop on the eve of the anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s death, with Sunday marking two years since the monarch passed away.
The star-studded event was attended by actor Marco Leone, astrology and psychology expert Dr. Jennifer Freed and author, teacher and psychic medium Laura Lynne Jackson, who all highlighted Meghan on their Instagram stories.
Godmothers, co-owned by literary agent Jennifer Rudolph Walsh, just celebrated its grand opening weekend by hosting a series of events and “conversations” with celebrities and authors.
The bookstore appears to be promoting several popular books about celebrities, including Meghan’s children’s book The Bench and Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, which can be found front and center in the store, on its “hometown heroes” shelf.
While it’s unclear what exactly the duchess said in her full speech, the crowd seemed to eat it up, with Jackson calling Meghan one of the “light-filled speakers” of the night.
Unsurprisingly, Meghan, who lives in the same city as Winfrey, was invited to the talk show host’s book club session yesterday.
Winfrey has been close friends with Meghan for several years and was a guest at the royal wedding in May 2018.
Their relationship appears to have grown even stronger over the years after the Sussexes moved into a $14 million mansion in Montecito, which is just a stone’s throw from Oprah’s sprawling home.
