Meghan Markle showed off her effortlessly chic style as she and Prince Harry visited a school in the Santa Fe area of Bogotá on Friday.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently on a “quasi-royal” tour of Colombia, visiting a school with at least 16 armoured police vehicles, as well as armed officers and soldiers in tow.
Meghan looked sophisticated in high-waisted black skinny jeans, which she paired with a white button-down business shirt tucked in, leaving one button at the top undone.
She completed her professional look with a dark camel-coloured designer blazer, with large lapels and matching buttons, which she had fastened lightly at the wrist.
The blazer, by Loro Piana, is one of Meghan’s favorites and sells for $3,750 a piece in a linen and wool blend.

She also carried a small beige handbag over her shoulder, with some simple gold jewelry on her wrist.
The Duchess, 43, added a special touch to her elegant look by wearing her mother-in-law Princess Diana’s diamond butterfly earrings.
Meghan was previously seen wearing the blazer when she and Harry visited Nigeria in May for a photo with Derrick Cobinnah, president of the Ghana-Jamaica Chamber of Commerce and co-founder of Forces Help Ghana.
Security for Prince Harry, 39, and Meghan in Colombia also includes an officer armed with a Kevlar shield to stop any potential shooters targeting the couple.
At every event the couple has attended, the man (who is part of the local security team) has been seen jumping out of a vehicle in front of the couple while holding the collapsible shield.
The visit to the school, which is surrounded by run-down apartment buildings and several abandoned favelas clinging to nearby hillsides, comes despite Harry expressing concerns about its security measures when he visits the UK.
After being welcomed by the school’s director, Serafín Ordóñez, the Duke and Duchess, together with the country’s vice president, Francia Márquez, took a brief tour.
She watched the pair observe an art session, visit a kindergarten class and get their hands dirty helping young students plant trees in the school garden.

Later in the day, the couple will have a private lunch with Vice President Francia Marquez before meeting members of the Colombian Invictus Games team, who are preparing for the 2025 games in Whistler, Canada.

Meghan helped a five-year-old pupil named Manuela plant a walnut tree, while Harry helped with a guaiac tree, a plant native to South America.
The entire school prepared special moments for the arrival of the Duke and Duchess, including performances throughout the school where students dressed in traditional Colombian costumes and performed songs along with live music.
The pupils also delivered gifts for Harry and Meghan’s children Archie, five, and Lilibet, three, including Colombian-style ponchos, as well as personal letters and drawings.
