He also took photos with the Duke and Duchess together in the living room of their home.
Prince Harry and Meghan timed their visit to coincide with John’s mother’s birthday, and the couple even brought them a birthday cake.
“Meghan Markle singing happy birthday to my mom was the cutest and most adorable thing ever, she even bought her a cake,” he wrote.
John later appeared overwhelmed by the visit writing: ‘MEGHAN MARKLE AND PRINCE HARRY CAME TO MY HOUSE!?!?!?! “They are such a beautiful couple and I am so blessed, so glad they came to see how the family is doing.”

John explained that the couple had remained in contact with the Garcia family since the senseless shooting.
“They keep in touch every couple of months, sometimes a little more, but with their busy lives, their visit really felt more special,” she said.
Meghan visited Uvalde just two days after the shooting, where she offered her condolences and laid a bouquet of white roses tied with a purple ribbon on the cross for 10-year-old Uziyah Garcia.
