The makeup artist of the Duchess of Sussex was criticized after publishing a candid photo of a stranger who applied her makeup on the New York subway.
Daniel Martin, who did Meghan's make-up on her wedding day, shared the confident woman's snap of her eyebrows as she boarded the subway car with her 112k Instagram followers, saying she was "spellbound" by her abilities.
The image accumulated almost 7,000 "likes", but while some fans thanked Martin for defending working women, others accused him of invading his privacy.
Martin, a brand ambassador for Dior, wrote: "I feel so much respect when I see women in the subway putting on makeup.

But some fans were not impressed, with an Instagram interpreter who wrote, "You should not take pictures of strangers and post them online," while another said they would "hit" anyone who took their picture without their permission.
Luciana Carro added: "I never understood how people think it's okay to take a candid photo of someone they do not even know and post it on their social networks.
A third wrote: "It's a good balance between admiring or staring at a stranger in the subway."
