The duchess shared the montage of the ‘sweet’ dog, which was due to appear on her Netflix show, on social media.

Admitting she has cried “too many tears to count,” the mother-of-two thanked her pet for years of “unconditional love.”

The photos show Guy snuggling with Meghan in bed, enjoying cuddles with Harry and keeping the Duchess company while she makes jam.

“In memory of Guy,” she wrote in the clip, urging her followers to “adopt, don’t buy,” which includes a montage of photos and videos of the dog set to melancholic music.

‘In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been in a kill shelter in Kentucky and had been given a few days to live. I pounced on him… and fell in love.

‘They referred to him as “the little one” because he was so small and fragile, so I called him “Guy.” And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for.

The sweet tribute offers a rare glimpse into the Sussexes’ home life, featuring sweet moments with the family pet.

“We’re improvising, Guy,” Meghan can be heard telling the dog in one video as she is seen boiling raspberries on the stove as the curious Beagle joins her at her side.

It’s the third upload to her Instagram page after she launched her new Netflix series on her new Instagram account last week, called With Love, Meghan.

A sleepy but smiling guy appears in the trailer for the highly anticipated show, which will be released next week.

‘If you followed me on Instagram in the past, you saw it a lot, and also on The Tig. “He was with me in Suits, when I got engaged (and then married), when I became a mother… he was with me through everything: the tranquility, the chaos, the calm, the consolation,” she said.

‘He suffered a terrible accident shortly before I moved to the UK, which forced him to undergo surgeries for several months and was unable to leave the clinic. Doctors said he would never walk again, but Dr Noel Fitzpatrick said he could. H and I were driving late at night, after hours, to see Guy while he was recovering in Surrey for months.

Meghan expressed her gratitude to Dr Noel, as well as the “team at Queen West Animal Hospital in TO, our current vets and my friends and community.”

“Thank you for loving him so much,” he said. ‘Because many of you will be seeing Guy in this new series, I hope you understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you can fall in love a little too.

“I’ve cried too many tears to count, the kind of tears that make you jump into the shower in the absurd hope that running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s fine too.

‘Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you will never know. As always, Meghan.
