The lawsuit claims Gramz spread false statements “for no other reason than to intimidate, harass and punish Ms. Pete for Mr. Peterson’s conviction and tarnish her reputation, causing emotional distress.”

The lawsuit noted that Megan has “repeatedly attempted to stop Defendant Cooper’s misconduct” and “asked what it would take to stop posting on Defendant’s platforms.”

‘From Mr. Peterson being charged in 2020 with felony assault with a deadly weapon after shooting Ms. Pete, to his subsequent conviction in December 2022, to this day, you have met the Mr. Peterson’s public mandate to denigrate, disparage, insult and spread false and defamatory statements about Ms. Pete on his online platform, for no other reason than to intimidate, harass and punish Ms. Pete for Mr. Peterson’s conviction and tarnish their reputation, causing emotional distress.’
He continued: ‘The plaintiff is aware of your conspiratorial relationship with Mr. Peterson and knows that you are a paid surrogate for Mr. Peterson. His conduct has repeatedly confirmed this. In fact, you promoted the debunked theory that Mr. Peterson did not shoot the plaintiff, when all the evidence proved otherwise and your theory was repeatedly degraded. You described the plaintiff as an “angry black woman” and a “lying hoe.” He accused her of having “a serious drinking problem” and “needs to spend more time in a relationship with herself and her therapist and maybe AA.”
Lanez was found guilty of the 2020 shooting of 29-year-old Megan Pete, which left her injured with bullet fragments in her feet. The rapper was found guilty and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Lanez was convicted of three felonies in August 2023 and received a 10-year prison sentence.
