Since 2009, Megan McKenna has climbed the slick show business by appearing on a host of reality shows and even launching a singing career.
But since Megan McKenna – a star of TOWIE, Ex On The Beach, CBB and X Factor – has left those shows in the past, she also seems to have abandoned the reality star look in the past, as seen when she stepped out on Wednesday evening.
The star, 30, attended the Wicked 2023 Media Night at London’s Apollo Victoria Theater where she showed she’s ditched lip fillers, plenty of fake tan and revealing ensembles in favor of high fashion style.
Megan was joined in the evening by her boyfriend Oliver Burke, a Scottish footballer, who plays as a right winger for Millwall FC, in their red carpet debut.
Away from the voluminous blow-dry of days gone by and mounds of makeup, Megan looked fresh and radiant as she combed her hair into a low ponytail at the nape of her nape with side bangs.

Megan became known for her over-glamor during her rise to fame, even having to distance herself from her lip fillers due to their over-the-top style.
She’s talked about hanging up her “Essex” style in the past, but Wednesday night proved to be the biggest illustration of her new elegant look.
The stunner wore a patterned mesh dress with long sleeves and a midi hemline under a waistcoat-style top and with suede boots.
Oliver, meanwhile, was just as trendy in an all-black ensemble with chunky boots and blingy rings, while also sporting a thick beard.
In 2021, Megan wondered “what was I even thinking about” after her battle with body dysmorphia due to her past obsession with “dangerous” lip fillers.
She shut down her stuffed pout in an effort to be taken more seriously in the music industry — saying she hasn’t looked back since she “saw the light” and adopted a more natural look.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain presenters Kate Garraway and Ben Shepard, Megan said at the time: “I look back and I look at myself and I think, ‘What was I thinking?’ But I got into this little bubble, I had a little bit of body dysmorphia.”

Megan rose to fame on TOWIE in 2016 as Pete Wicks’ girlfriend before becoming a main star soon after.
Before her big break on TOWIE, she also appeared on Ex On The Beach, Britain’s Got Talent, The X Factor, and Celebrity Big Brother in her bid for fame.
She appeared on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 to perform What is This Feeling? from Wicked – which makes her press night performance all the more poignant.
Her TOWIE stint in 2016 was not her first appearance as she also appeared on the show in 2010 auditioning to appear in Jess Wright’s now-defunct girl group LOLA before trying her luck at the Open Mic UK a year later Singing Competition 2011.
She then enjoyed two turns on Ex On The Beach, one in 2015 and one in 2016 – the same year she starred on Celebrity Big Brother shortly before becoming a full-time TOWIE cast member in March.
After leaving TOWIE in October 2017, Megan starred in her own reality series, There’s Something About Megan, focusing on her journey to Nashville to start a country music career.

In February, the new couple was spotted leaving the Corinthia hotel in London after a romantic mini-vacation on Valentine’s Day.

Megan also sparked speculation of a romance in her life when she shared that there was “someone for everyone” while singing in a video alongside a bouquet of pink roses.
They’ve since been more candid about their union and have shared a slew of snaps together that give an insight into their romance.
