Megan Fox’s boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly calls their new movie ‘TRASH’ after they skipped the premiere and blamed ‘covid concerns’
Megan Fox’ boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly has trashed their new movie Midnight in the Switchgrass after they both decided to skip the premiere earlier this month due to ‘covid concerns’
The rapper — real name Colson Baker — tweeted to his 1.6 million followers on Friday: “If I’m not talking or tweeting about a movie, I’m barely in it because it’s [trash emoji.]’
Earlier this month, the Fox representative said, “Due to the recent mask mandate in California and the rise of COVID cases, Megan Fox will no longer be attending the premiere tonight.”

However, the film has since been frowned upon by film critics, which could be another reason the real-life couple decided not to attend, despite the fact that they met and fell in love during filming last May.
Fox and the rapper met during the beginning of Midnight in the Switchgrass in March last year and while it sparked a passionate romance, the experience resulted in a poorly rated film.
The thriller — about two FBI agents investigating a string of murders that appear to be related — was criticized by critics Thursday, resulting in a dismal 17% rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.

“The atmosphere is thoroughly sleazy without being distinctive, and everything about the film — the emotionless readings, the half-baked back stories — exudes succinct functionality,” the review adds.
Slant Magazine’s Mark Hanson gave the film zero stars, saying, “Randall Emmett’s directorial debut is virtually indistinguishable from the scores of cheap VOD action thrillers he’s produced to date.”
The Hollywood Reporter called it a “poorly plotted and painfully acted directorial debut” that “doesn’t come close to meeting even the lowest expectations.”

However, the same review notes that one of the most surprisingly good parts is Machine Gun Kelly, who is “one of the most consistent and invested” in the cast.
“With such a star-powered lineup, you could reasonably expect some juicy acting, but some performances have a narrated quality – as if the actors didn’t want to be there,” the review added.
movie writer Tessa SmithAlthough he gave the film a one-star rating, Fox praised: “Megan Fox is the standout performance against Bruce Willis, which was a complete shock, but even that can’t save this movie.”
