Farmer Wants A Wife has long been a fan-favorite show, with viewers rooting for a new generation of handsome farmers with single women on the hunt for love each year.

The 2024 series, hosted by Samantha Armytage, once again saw six single farmers date a group of compatible women in the hope of finding their future wives.

It was arguably the most dramatic series yet, with fan-favourite farmer Bert going home single in a shocking send-off before a texting scandal from a “secret boyfriend” rocked the cast.

Although the tumultuous journey of 2024 farmers Bert, Joe, Dustin, Dean, Tom and Todd only came to an end in May, Seven is already casting for the 2025 series.

Showing no signs of slowing down, the lucky new farmers selected for the 2025 edition of the hit dating reality show have now been revealed.

Eight handsome singles have been shortlisted for dating show Seven, but two men will be eliminated from the final line-up and only six farmers will appear on screen next year.

Among the farmers vying for the 2025 cast is a 29-year-old banana and avocado farmer from Mareeba, Queensland, called Reidy, along with seven others.

Handsome cattleman Jack, 26, from Oberon, New South Wales, will open his heart to love in 2025, alongside sheep farmer Jarrad, 21, from Stanthorpe, Queensland.

Corey, a 24-year-old bean, hay and cotton farmer from Biloela, Queensland, is also in the running to make the official 2025 cast.

Handsome bachelor Jack L, 26, who runs a dairy farm in Railton, Tasmania, has signed up alongside sheep farmer Tom M, 31, from Borambola, New South Wales.

Also looking for love are wheat, barley and lentil farmer Thomas, 35, from Kimba, South Australia, and cattle and crop farmer Chooka, 25, from Goornong, Victoria.

Since the show is still in pre-production, it remains to be seen which two farmers will be eliminated and which six will make it to the screen to begin their search for true love.

Little is known about the 2025 FWAW series, as the series has yet to begin filming and the release date has yet to be confirmed.

The former Sunrise presenter replaced Natalie as host of the dating show last year, with Natalie instead appearing in a more “reduced” role in the last two series.

Natalie had become a fan favorite by hosting the first eight seasons of the reality show from 2007 to 2012, before returning in 2020.

Amid the host change, it was claimed that Samantha recently signed a new contract with Channel Seven, giving her two more years on the show.

It has been claimed that Natalie will continue in a “stand-in” role alongside Samantha, after only appearing briefly in the 2024 series of the show.

A source told Daily Mail Australia: “This new contract with Channel Seven marks a new era for her at the network.”

“With the show in full swing, it was a great time to renegotiate and Samantha is looking forward to returning to regional Australia and making new love stories,” they added.

The source insisted there will be no changes to the Farmer Wants A Wife show next year, despite many disgruntled fans calling for Natalie to return to centre stage.

They added that the format will remain the same for the 2025 series.
