“You’re definitely honored to be cast in something with those people,” she said. “Maybe there’s a brief moment of nerves, especially when you meet someone who is the lead on your show where you come as a recurring guest, you know?

“And of course Kate Winslet is a little different. She is like a huge star. There’s a moment of that and once you get used to it a bit and see how the other person works, you kind of realize that you have to deliver and work really hard.’

Sosie got a little help from Mom and Dad when she first started acting, scoring her first role at age 13 in 2005’s Loverboy – a movie starring both her parents. Appropriately, she played the ten-year-old version of her mother’s character.

She also appeared in four episodes of her mother’s hit show, The Closer, in 2009.

Still, Sosie admitted to PopSugar in 2013 that she doesn’t really watch her parents’ work.

“Honestly, I don’t watch their movies and stuff very often because when I was really little they were kind of inappropriate, so I just stuck with that pattern,” she said. But I recently watched Mystic River, and I found my father incredible in it.”

After taking a break from attending Brown University, she appeared on TV as Miss Golden Globe 2014.

She went on to appear in a number of TV movies before earning a role in Scream: The TV Series from 2015 to 2016.

Several small roles followed before being cast in 10 episodes of Here and Now in 2018 and the first season of 13 Reasons Why, in which she played Skye Miller.

Her last role for Mare was Narcos: Mexico in 2020.
