Meet Channel Nine’s next breakout star: how weather host Scherri-Lee Biggs went from beauty pageant runways to stealing the show on Celebrity Apprentice

The new season of Celebrity Apprentice is an ratings winner for Channel Nine.

And one of the show’s standout stars might just be Scherri-Lee Biggs, who entered the competition as an intruder this week.

The former model, 30, rose to fame when she won Miss Universe Australia in 2011 – the year after Jesinta Franklin took the crown.

She then moved to her hometown of Perth to become the new weather host for Nine News, replacing Sally Ayhan.

For a time, she made headlines as footy WAG while dating Brad Sheppard of the West Coast Eagles.

The couple dated for about 18 months and broke up after a seemingly romantic European vacation during the AFL hiatus in October 2019.
