The 32-year-old rapper, born as Robert Williams, reached the plea agreement in Philadelphia after a court of law rejected his conviction last month.

He had been in prison for almost two years on the case, and a judge decided that he should not spend extra time behind bars or on trial.

& # 39; I know this has been a long way for you and hopefully this is the end & # 39 ;, Judge Leon Tucker told the rapper.

The defense also accused the judge of the trial of bias because he had sent the entertainer back to prison for minor probation violations.

Williams called the 12-year ordeal & # 39; mentally and emotionally challenging & # 39; but said that millions of people face the same problems.

He has become an activist for criminal justice reform since he was sent back to prison in 2017 for technical violations that he blamed on his irregular travel schedule when his career rocketed.

He spent five months imprisoned before an appeal granted him bail.

Last month, a Pennsylvania appeals court overturned the conviction by saying that new evidence undermined the credibility of the officer who testified against the rapper during his trial and made it likely that he would be acquitted if the case were resumed.

The prosecutor's office Larry Krasner had supported Williams' appeal and said it could not call the former prosecutor to testify after an internal probe discovered that he had stolen conscription and lied about it.

The officer, Reginald Graham, has denied the allegations.

& # 39; The past 11 years have been mentally and emotionally challenging, but I am ecstatic that justice prevailed & # 39 ;, Williams said last month after his conviction was destroyed.

He is now free of scrutiny by Judge Genece Brinkley, who sentenced him after a brief trial without compensation in 2008 and repeatedly brought him back during a decade of court supervision.

Brinkley often complained that Williams & # 39; his nose was & # 39; to her and once visited a homeless shelter to monitor his efforts to serve the community.

She later rebuked him for sorting clothes instead of serving meals as she had ordered. He said he was referred to the job.

The Pennsylvania Superior Court removed Brinkley from the case because it granted Williams a new trial. The Krasner office then had to decide whether he wanted to try again or try to negotiate a means, perhaps because of a crime.

In his testimony during the trial, Williams admitted that he had a gun, but he denied that he had targeted it or was selling drugs at the time.

In 2015, a federal jury rejected a lawsuit that Williams had filed against a police in Philadelphia for what he called a racially motivated 10-hour traffic jam that led him to launch for his debut album & # 39; Dreams & Nightmares & # 39; to miss.

On July 24, just hours before the Pennsylvania Superior Court rejected his conviction, Meek Mill and Jay-Z announced they were launching a new label called Dream Chasers Records.
