BVB is expanding its management team and, according to media reports, is bringing in Slaven Stanic as the new “sports coordinator”. This is reported by “Bild” and “Sport1”.
From June at the latest, the former second division professional (48) should join BVB and support sports director Sebastian Kehl (43) as an interface between the team and the sporting management.
So far, Stanic has worked in consultant Marc Kosicke’s “Project B” agency, which also looks after former BVB coach Jürgen Klopp from Liverpool FC. Stanic previously worked for Puma and Adidas, among others.
He is said to have a very good network within the football industry with contacts to players, coaches and officials.
