- Miriam Atukunzire, 37, missing since 11am on Friday
Police are calling for “urgent assistance” to find a mother and her six-month-old baby who have been missing for almost 48 hours.
Miriam Atukunzire, 37, and her baby were last seen at an address on Armstrong Rd in Meadowbrook at Logan Reserve south of Brisbane around 11am on Friday.
Ms Atukunzire contacted her relatives about an hour later but has not been seen or heard from since.
Both police and Ms Atukunzire’s family are concerned for the couple’s welfare as the disappearance is “out of the ordinary”.
Ms Atukunzire is described as being of African appearance, about 160cm tall, with dark hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing a black and white striped dress and a black trench coat.
Police are asking Ms Atukunzire or anyone with further information to contact police.
Miriam Atukunzire and her baby were last seen in Meadowbrook around 11am on Friday.
