McDonald’s has launched two new versions of its McShaker fries, and fans say they are “changing lives”.
One has a spicy masala flavor and the other has a sweet churro flavor.
Customers receive a bag of chips and then sprinkle the seasoning on top like salt, then shake the bag.
But in a blow to fans in the US, the new fries are only available in Canada.
He newly revealed flavors were shared in Instagram by the food blog Snackolator on Tuesday, May 28.

He wrote: ‘McDonald’s just launched TWO new flavors of McShaker potato chips…but in Canada!
“If you’ve never seen them before, in many countries McDonalds sells them and they come in a bag where you can throw the condiment in and ‘shake’ the bag to coat your fries with a new flavor condiment.”
American fans expressed their frustration in the comments.
One said: ‘Why does Canada get all the cool stuff?’
Another wrote: Why can’t they be more creative in the United States like in other countries?
“Literally every other McDonald’s outside the United States is better.”
But one American explained why they wouldn’t be in American restaurants.
“We had these for a while in the United States, but they were not successful.” they wrote. ‘So fast I never got around to trying them.
Meanwhile, a fan who had tried them wrote: ‘I had both, I don’t like the churro one…
‘BUT if you put it in a caramel ice cream it changes your life’
American McDonald’s fans have a special item this summer: the Grandma McFlurry, which costs around $4.50.
Contains soft vanilla ice cream mixed with chopped caramel pieces and topped with syrup.

The flavor has been compared to caramel, much like Werther’s Original, a candy many Americans associate with grandparents.
Fast food restaurants have seen customer numbers drop, after two years of low prices since the pandemic. To recover them they are launching agreements.
McDonald’s plans a $5 meal package starting June 25. Customers will receive a total of four items: a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, fries, a small soft drink and four McNuggets.
Burger King has a similar $5 deal, while Wendy’s has launched a $3 breakfast, as the fast food price war appears to be heating up.
