So three members of staff at a Melbourne store answered burning questions they get about working at the chain to clear up any misinformation.
Posting on employee Tabby’s TikTok account, the staff said that the ice cream machine is often not broken, they just can’t fulfill your order while cleaning it.
The McFlurry machine requires a four-hour automatic thermal clean every night to kill off any bacteria.

“We don’t mess up any orders on purpose,” Tabby said.
