McDonald’s Australia has launched a worldwide fan-favourite dessert in Australia and they’re so confident it’s going to be a hit that it’s here to stay.
Dubbed ‘McPops’, the dessert is a donut-sized treat filled with ‘deliciously gooey fillings’ and topped with a dusting of powdered sugar or cocoa.
The little treats that come in chocolate, berry and Biscoff flavors will be available starting Wednesday, May 29 nationwide.
The Choc McPop is a mini cocoa donut with a chocolate filling and sprinkled with cocoa.
The Berry McPop is a pink donut with a berry filling and sprinkled with sugar, while the Biscoff offering is a regular donut with a Biscoff filling, topped with a touch of sugar.

McDonald’s Australia marketing director Lancy Huynh seemed excited about the upcoming product launch.
“McPops are a fun, affordable snack, bursting with warm sweetness, that we hope our customers will love,” they said.
The fan favorites debuted in Spain, where they quickly gained attention and now appear on menus around the world.
Customers can add a single McPop for $1.50, or two McPops for $2.50, with the purchase of any McCafé beverage.
McPops will be available in Australia at McCafés nationwide, including via drive-thru, the MyMacca’s app and McDelivery from Wednesday 29 May 2024, joining McCafé’s permanent menu.
