McDonald’s has revealed that it has brought back two fan favourites to its US menus this summer, but only for a limited time.
A popular burger returns, as well as a special McFlurry flavor.
The fast food giant announced Monday that it will reintroduce the much-loved Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
The company will also offer a version of the burger that includes two patties. These are already in restaurants.
“Everyone’s favorite sandwich is back,” the beloved chain said in a statement.

The large burgers will first hit menus in November 2022 and feature a quarter-pound beef patty topped with American cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, Roma tomatoes, lettuce and a “special, smoky BLT sauce” on a bun.
They will be joined by a new item: the Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry.
The new frozen dessert is made with soft-serve vanilla ice cream mixed with chunks of Kit Kat chocolate bars and “real strawberries and bananas,” McDonald’s announced.
Both the Smoky BLTs and the new McFlurry will be available for a limited time only, however, the company did not specify how long this period will last.
McDonald’s has been rolling out more new items and deals this summer to attract customers.
His $5 meal hit restaurants last month. Customers will also receive four items: a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, fries, a soft drink and four McNuggets.
Last week, the chain announced it will bring its first garlic sauce to the United States.
Old favorites will be joined by a new item, the Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry.
Special grade garlic sauce It is inspired by the black garlic sauce found at the Golden Arches in Japan.
This is good news for McDonald’s fans who want to see more international menu items in the U.S.
Last month, McDonald’s launched two new versions of its McShaker fries, and fans say they’ve been “life-changing.” One is a spicy masala flavor and the other is a sweet churro flavor.
But to the surprise of fans in the United States, the new fries are only available in Canada.
