Floyd Mayweather is criticized for ‘swindling millions and giving it its bare minimum’ while ‘ballsy’ Logan Paul is praised for going the distance and KSI boldly claims ‘So you say I’m the best boxer in the world’ as fans respond to exhibition in Miami
Floyd Mayweather has been criticized by fans for “framing millions” and “giving it its bare minimum” after failing to knock out Logan Paul in their exhibition fight.
The boxing legend dominated proceedings, winning nearly every round against novice fighter Paul, but left fans frustrated after failing to go through the gears to force a break.
Mayweather had upped the ante in the middle rounds after landing almost random left hooks and body shots, but he never turned Paul upside down as the YouTuber-turned-boxer defied the odds of going the full distance.

Mayweather failed to hurt Paul when he won the full eight-lap distance in Miami
YouTuber sensation KSI, who defeated Paul in a fight in 2019, posted this tweet after the exhibition
The 44-year-old, who praised Paul and admitted afterwards that he might never fight again, was criticized on social media as the world reacted to the glitzy exhibition fight in Miami.
One Twitter user wrote: “Mayweather has ripped off millions into thinking he was going to try and take Logan down.”
A second said, “Floyd gave it his bare minimum, Logan looked like he was trying his best.”
A third wrote: ‘I can’t believe Logan Paul and Floyd Mayweather ended in a draw. Disappointed.’
Another added: ‘Tom Brady looks much better at almost 44 than Floyd Mayweather Jr. at 44.’
A number of fans were not impressed with the fight, Mayweather in particular was criticized after the fight ended without a winner
A number of people also posted photos of Mayweather next to large piles of cash and mocked his huge reported $100 million that he took home for Sunday’s exhibit.
However, YouTube sensation Paul got a lot of credit for delivering a brave performance to go the full eight rounds, leaving many people shocked.
One user said: ‘The fact that he got in the ring at all costs balls and I don’t even like Logan Paul.’
Another added: “Logan lost six or seven rounds. I don’t want to hear that he won and everything. However, CREDIT TO HIM for what he accomplished tonight. 8x three minute rounds is difficult.’
Fellow YouTuber KSI, who beat Paul in a professional fight in November 2019, joked afterwards, “So… you’re saying I’m the best boxer in the world?”
Mayweather tried to downplay the fight and his failure to stop Paul after the fight. “It was a good move, we had fun. I was surprised by him tonight, good job. He was better than I thought,” he said after the last bell.
“Logan’s a good guy. I had fun. Tonight was a pleasant evening.
“I was fighting a heavyweight but I was having fun even though he didn’t have much experience, he knew how to use his weight and tie me up and he was just surviving but I was having fun and I’m sure he had fun. It was just entertainment.’
