Maya Jama gushes over her boyfriend Stormzy as he surprises her with a sweet gift after she admitted she was ‘feeling down’

Maya Jama has hinted that her boyfriend Stormzy surprised her with a thoughtful gift after she admitted she was feeling “depressed”.

The Love Island presenter, 29, shared on Instagram Stories that she had enjoyed a relaxing spa day with one of her friends, which included an ice facial and a steam sauna session.

Documenting the trip with her friend Victoria, also known as Buzz, Maya hinted in a subsequent post that Stormzy had invited her on the excursion, after the pair rekindled their romance last year.

She captioned one of her posts: “I was feeling down so the guy booked a spa day for me (and) Buzz.”

“How nice and now I feel like a zen fluff ball ready for the week.”

Maya had previously revealed that she had been gifted a bouquet of flowers, with a card that read: “I pray you smile a little more today x.”

One of the posts also showed the star flaunting her curves in a yellow bikini while relaxing at a spa.

Last month, Maya and Stormzy shared a rare glimpse into their romance, as they replicated the ’14 Questions You Should Ask’ trend for couples in a TikTok post.

The duo began answering a series of questions about “who is most likely to do” something, and didn’t hold back.

Stormzy gushed about his partner, captioning the clip: “My love. I hope you all had a lovely Valentine’s Day.”

The couple also showed that their romantic spark burns brighter than ever as they enjoyed a Valentine’s Day getaway.

While they didn’t specify the location, the Love Island star shared snippets of the trip with her 3.1 million Instagram followers, including her £25,000 Hermés Birkin gift, her snail dinner and the fireplace in her lodge.

The next day, Maya, who grabbed a bag of KFC on her way home from the retreat, revealed that she had struggled with herself sharing details of the getaway due to her internal debate over whether she should keep her ‘parts’ private.

Last year, Maya and Stormzy ended months of speculation by confirming that they were indeed back together after traveling to Greece for a romantic getaway, following their initial split in 2019.

The couple’s reunion was said to be the work of Stormzy’s mother, Abigail Owuo, who recently spoke out about whether the rapper and his girlfriend Maya will have children.

The couple dated for four years before splitting in 2019, with the rapper publicly stating that he “never loved anyone like I loved her.”

He has always denied infidelity in the relationship but admitted he had to learn hard lessons about his behavior and described it as “disrespectful.”
