Maya Jama has reportedly been secretly dating Manchester City star Ruben Dias for a month, after catching his attention when they first met at the European Music Awards.
The presenter, 30, caused a stir at the awards show when she arrived in Elizabeth Hurley’s iconic safety-pin dress.
Now sources claim Dias, who also attended the awards, was equally captivated by Maya’s saucy look and, after exchanging numbers, their romance has intensified in the weeks since.
A source said the sun: ‘Maya and Rubén exchanged details at the EMAs and have talked since then, but things improved in early December.
“When Rubén was injured and had to miss the busy New Year’s games, he jumped at the chance to see him in 2025 with Maya in Spain. Spending New Year’s Eve together was a real step forward in their relationship.
“They get along very well and obviously make a wonderful couple, but it’s still early days.”

Last month, Maya shared a big hint that she is serious about her romance with Manchester City star Ruben.
Speaking about her hopes for “marriage and children” in a recent interview, the Love Island presenter admitted she “didn’t need anyone” and was only going out with one intention.
The couple were pictured celebrating the New Year together in Ibiza this week after being first linked in November.

While the couple were thought to have split after disagreements over when to settle down, with Stormzy more of a homeboy and Maya more career-driven, last month he confirmed this was not the case.
After photos emerged of the rapper, 31, and his new girlfriend Victoria Monet, Maya took to Instagram to take the opportunity to say that the narrative “that I don’t want to settle down and have kids is a lie.”
The former couple reportedly split because Maya was willing to focus on her career instead of settling down with the “homely” rapper.
Meanwhile, Dias previously dated Love Island star Arabella Chi for three months, before he reportedly dumped her on New Year’s Eve 2024. Arabella appeared on Love Island: All Stars just weeks later.
They met through mutual friends and tried to keep the romance a secret, but there were rumors when they shared posts of the Eiffel Tower in November 2023.
