A turbulent month was all but forgotten as new single Maya Henry enjoyed a late night out in London on Wednesday night.

The Texas model, until recently a well-known appearance alongside Liam Payne, was alone when she let her hair down at Annabel’s, the city’s swanky Mayfair members’ club.

In celebration of the longest day of the year, the exclusive venue hosted a festive summer music event – with Maya joined by guests including actor and musician Evan Ross.

Maya, 21, arrived in typically elegant fashion, standing out in a tasteful chocolate brown silk dress with a thigh-high split that exposed her legs as she climbed out of the back of her car.

The brunette completed her look with a pair of strappy peeptoe heels, while a simple handbag and gold jewelry seemed to be her only standout accessories.

Maya appeared to be resilient during her last public appearance, having only just returned from a short stay in Madrid with close friends Rita Ora, her boyfriend Taika Waititi and Vas J. Morgan.

The model thought she was single after an abrupt split from One Direction star Liam, less than 18 months after he asked for her hand in marriage.

Liam proposed with a £3m ring in August 2020 after just over a year of dating the brunette, who he first met at a One Direction meet-and-greet when she was 15 years old.

But the engagement was called off after the singer was pictured with Florida-based influencer Aliana Mawla, who bears a passing resemblance to the model.

While Maya is often pictured alone in the English capital, Liam has since been seen with ex-girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

The singer was pictured leaving the Nobu Hotel with former X Factor dancer Danielle, 35, in London’s Shoreditch at 3am – nine years after their breakup.

Liam, who attended the Soccer Aid bash after the celebrity match, sparked speculation that the pair could start again after sitting in the back seat of the star’s chauffeured car together.

A source said: ‘Liam has always had strong feelings for Danielle and was devastated when they broke up all those years ago.

“They ended their relationship on good terms and now enjoy their time together, including on Sunday evenings.”
