Maxx Crosby has attacked Pat McAfee and some of the ‘clowns’ he has as guests on his show after pundits’ recent trash talk about the Las Vegas Raiders star.
Crosby did not mention anyone by name except McAfee during the rant.
Online sleuths have pointed to McAfee associate Michael Lombardi as the one who angered Crosby based on the defensive lineman’s comments.
On last Thursday’s edition of McAfee’s show, Lombardi claimed Crosby was faking an injury to sit out amid Davante Adams’ differences with the team.
“And then I heard these clowns who were talking online and talking on the Pat McAfee show saying, ‘Something’s going on,’ and they were speaking for me saying I should be on the sidelines when I was getting my ankle spanked.” Crosby said.
Raiders star Maxx Crosby spoke out against the ‘clowns’ who have destroyed him.
Crosby mentioned the Pat McAfee show several times as a place of disrespect towards him.
‘These clowns are sitting on the couch talking about what they should be doing. But the reality is that I’m gaining yards and trying to do well, and that’s how I get back on the field. Everyone knows my intentions and they try to speak for me when, if you talk to me and know what’s going on, then we could have a conversation.’
But don’t speak on my behalf if you don’t know what the hell is going on. …Then you have clowns that are online and talking. They have their one day a week, or they can go on the Pat McAfee show and talk about what we should do.’
‘You were (general manager) for a year. So it’s embarrassing. Don’t speak for me. “I’m going to speak for my guys and that’s all that matters to me.”
Lombardi was the general manager of the Cleveland Browns for one year during the 2013-14 football season.
Crosby also rejected any speculation that he too wanted to leave Las Vegas, referencing the tattoos on his body.
Crosby has only played for the Raiders since being drafted by the team in 2019.
