Maxibon has relaunched one of its most popular flavors – and Australian foodies are already lining up to get in on the action.
The beloved dessert brand has reintroduced Maxibon Butter Peanut Jams ($9.50 for a pack of four) into Woolworths and independent grocery stores.
The flavor is back by popular demand after an eight-year hiatus during which shoppers begged Maxibon for another taste of the classic ice cream sandwich.
“This was my favorite flavor of all time, I’m obsessed,” food influencer Nick Vavitis said in a video.
The Maxibon features a peanut butter-flavored slice with raspberry jam syrup sandwiched between two chocolate cookies – with one end dipped in chocolate and coated in crushed peanuts.

Although you can get your hands on the popular Maxibons at Woolies, Coles shoppers will have to wait until April 8.
This peanut butter and jelly inspired dessert aims to take Australians on a trip down memory lane – from schoolyard lunches to Grandma’s kitchen table.
Australians have already shared their joy online.
“I can’t wait to try this,” one said.
“Just got it – love Maxibon,” wrote another.
