Mauricio Umansky has admitted he has never once asked his estranged wife Kyle Richards if she is officially dating musician Morgan Wade – despite widespread speculation.
Kyle, 55, was linked to the Wilder Days hitmaker, 29, shortly after she announced her split from Mauricio last July, with the Real Housewives of Beverley Hills star recently revealing she felt ‘curious’ after kissing a woman.
Mauricio, 53, has now opened up about their relationship on his Netflix show Buying Beverly Hills, revealing he hasn’t been able to work up the courage to ask his wife directly about her undeniable ‘connection’ with Morgan.
Speaking to a colleague in the final episode, Mauricio admitted: ‘I haven’t asked her outright. There is a lot of news about the two of them: are they dating, are they not dating?

“Honestly, I never asked straight up.”
His business partner then asked, ‘Are you curious?’
“They definitely have some kind of connection together, there’s no doubt about that,” Mauricio replied.
‘They spend a lot of time together. What that connection is, I have no idea.
‘One of the reasons I don’t want to ask is that I don’t want to put the extra pressure on her.
‘If it’s working for her and giving her the opportunity to deal with our separation and what we’re dealing with, then I’m fine with that.’
Kyle and Mauricio announced their split last July after 27 years of marriage.
The estranged couple tied the knot in 1996 and share children Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16.

Kyle is also mother to daughter Farrah, 35, whom she welcomed with ex Guraish Aldjufrie.
Earlier this month, Kyle admitted she had been ‘curious’ after kissing a woman in a teaser for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills finale – and spoke about dating rumors surrounding herself and Morgan.
She also broke down in tears as she addressed rumors of infidelity surrounding her estranged husband.
During the reunion, Kyle said it was ‘nobody’s damn business’ as to the reasoning behind the split, per page six.
She then brought up a comment she made in the season 13 finale about how something in their marriage ‘made (her) lose (her) trust.’
She got emotional and told host Andy Cohen: ‘With any marriage there are issues you have and they come up and then something happened, as I said in my interview, where I lost my confidence.’

‘I care about my family first and I really tried and then when I couldn’t, the kind of things that I was – I won’t say I tolerate – just became more apparent to me.’
She continued: ‘I guess I couldn’t do it anymore and I finally just had a breaking point.’
Mauricio and Kyle’s separation is a major storyline in the newly released second season of Buying Beverly Hills.
In one scene, Mauricio sits down with his three oldest daughters Farrah, Alexia and Sophia and reveals that Kyle has asked him out on a date.
“I had an amazing 26 years with your mother and I would do anything to save it,” he says.
‘Your mother came and she spoke to me and said, “I think I need space.”
‘She said to me, “Listen, the rules are: you go out, you date, you do whatever you want.
“I don’t want to ask you what you’re doing, I don’t want you to ask me what I’m doing. We’re separate.”
His children wipe away tears as they process the news before Mauricio says he might spend a month in Aspen to ‘clear’ his head.
“Our lives have just changed so much,” Sophia says, her eyes welling up. ‘We only found out ourselves that there were problems just a few months ago and now it’s just like… things change so quickly.’
Farrah, who ended her engagement to longtime boyfriend Alex Manos last year, agrees, admitting she could never have predicted this a year ago.
“It’s so weird to even be having these conversations,” she says to her stepfather, who is also her boss at The Agency.
Alexia is the last to break her silence as she expresses how ‘sorry’ she is that they all have to go ‘through this’.
