The Love Island star, 30, seemed physically confident in the skinny two-piece as she promoted her fake brown range Bellamianta.

‘At the weekend I eat what I want and during the week I do my best to eat healthier. But with the exercise, it is very easy to become obsessed with it.

“It got to a stage where it really affected my periods; I’ve been on my period for four months. Certainly at my age it is of course not good. I want to have kids someday so I know that’s just not a good thing to happen.

In June, Maura told MailOnline that she started working out in lockdown and couldn’t believe how ‘skinny’ her body had gotten after fitness guru Joe Wicks online workouts.

But now, after listening to the advice of her loved ones, she has taken a step back from regular and vigorous exercise.

She said, ‘I reduced exercise and increased my calories and all. It is good to have people around you who are not afraid to say these things to you. It’s so important. I feel so much better. ‘

Excessive weight loss can cause periods to stop, and by limiting the amount of calories you eat, you prevent the production of hormones necessary for ovulation.
