Matty ‘J’ Johnson hilariously faked Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven after voting to ‘leave’ the show – before changing his vote to ‘stay’

Matty ‘J’ Johnson was clearly tuned into Married At First Sight Australia this week.

The former star of The Bachelor shared his fun with indecisive groom, Bryce Ruthven, who voted to ‘leave’ bride Melissa Rawson at the ceremony, before crossing it out and writing ‘stay’ on his card instead.

The 33-year-old made a hilarious parody of the moment in a video he shared on Instagram on Monday.

In the clip, Matty dresses up as Bryce with an ill-fitting blonde wig and also plays the role of a MAFS production assistant.

‘Bryce’ is displayed scribbling ‘leave’ and starting over, before the assistant asks, ‘If you make a mistake I can get you a new paper’.

Matty as Bryce replies, “Do you think I should leave or should I stay here?” to which the assistant says they cannot advise him.

Funny: “It’s okay, I’ll just keep this,” says Bryce, and the assistant replies, “You know Melissa is going to see that, right?” Matty as Bryce then hilariously replies, ‘Oh yes Melissa! No, she’s okay ‘

‘Oh yes Melissa! No, she’s fine, ‘Bryce’ replies hilariously, while the assistant reminds him: ‘All of Australia will see that too’.

Asking again if ‘Bryce’ wants new paper, to which he insists, ‘No, I’m fine’, the assistant says on their headset, ‘Send Bryce in now’.

During Monday’s episode, radio host Bryce, 31, left fans in shock when he changed his decision at the last minute.

After Melissa, 31, revealed her decision to ‘stay’, the whole room remained silent as Bryce looked dissatisfied and uncomfortable at the prospect of revealing his decision.

He opened his card and said, “Actually, I’ve decided to leave. But then I crossed it out. ‘

After hearing his decision, a visibly upset Melissa said to the camera, ‘I had no idea that leave would even be considered. I’m still a little confused. ‘

Married At First Sight will continue on Channel Nine on Tuesday at 7:30 PM
