Matt LeBlanc has his Friends castmates worried about him as the anniversary of his beloved co-star Matthew Perry’s passing approaches.
Since Perry’s tragic death in October 2023, LeBlanc, 57, has rarely been seen in public while grieving, and his latest appearance reportedly left friends uneasy and worried.
He was spotted out and about in Los Angeles earlier this month and his disheveled appearance was “worrying” to his co-stars, a source said. In touch weeklyafter seeing the photos of him obtained by TMZ.
“No one is criticizing Matt for his looks or accusing him of leading an inappropriate lifestyle. That’s not what’s going on here,” the source clarified.
“But what worries Jen (Aniston) and the entire Central Perk team is that he’s a recluse these days and they barely hear from him from one month to the next,” the source said.

“She’s been in touch since Matthew Perry’s tragic passing,” the source said.
“But other than that, he just kind of stays hidden away and does his thing with no real interest in socializing,” the source continued.
“It’s just sad for everyone to see this,” the source added.
On LeBlanc’s remarkable change, the source said: “He used to be a very optimistic and happy guy, but now it’s like he doesn’t feel worthy of being in her company in any way.”
The source added: “It’s clear her self-esteem has taken a hit, and you only have to look at the boy to see he’s been physically taken aback too.”
However, the source said LeBlanc still has the unconditional support of his friends.
“Jen, Courteney (Cox), Lisa (Kudrow) and David (Schwimmer) all want him back on the team and smiling again,” the source said.
“The recent tragedy has taught everyone how short and precious life really is.”
This comes as the anniversary of Perry’s passing approaches.

“It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you my friend,” he wrote. “I will always smile when I think of you and I will never forget you. Ever.”
LeBlanc wrote: “Spread your wings and fly bro, you are finally free. I love you so much.”
He concluded his tribute with a final joke between him and his close friend: “And I guess you’ll keep the $20 you owe me.”
