’90s acting icon Matt Dillon appears to be embracing his later years.
While at the Cannes Film Festival in France this week, the 60-year-old Texan actor was spotted with some silver strands in his neatly cropped light brown hair.
The actor normally has very dark brown hair, but on Wednesday he looked like he was starting to embrace a silver fox style.
Dillon wore a dark jacket with a black shirt and gray jeans while attending the Being Maria photocall at the Palais des Festivals. In the film he plays Marlon Brando.
The New York native has a long and varied career that includes classics like Drugstore Cowboy (1989) and massive hits like There’s Something About Mary (1998), starring his girlfriend at the time, Cameron Diaz.
Matt has also been in the spotlight lately as he met Angelina Jolie when she was at an event for her stage version of The Outsiders; Dillon starred in the film version of the story in the 1980s.

Her new film Being Maria is about Maria Schneider’s rise to fame after Last Tango in Paris.
Dillon plays his Tango co-star Marlon Brando. María is played by Anamaría Vartolomei.
The film partly follows the controversial production and harrowing aftermath of Bernardo Bertolucci’s 1972 masterpiece.
The Academy Award nominee made his Film debut in Over the Edge (1979).
Jane Bernstein and a friend helped director Jonathan Kaplan cast the teenager in the drama Over the Edge.
They encountered Dillon leaving a class at Hommocks High School in Larchmont.
Dillon auditioned for a role and got it. Dillon’s performance was well received.
He was also a teenager when he starred in the classic 1980 film My Bodyguard. He played a high school bully opposite Chris Makepeace.
He then worked with Tatum O’Neal in the sex comedy Little Darlings (1980) in which he had scenes with Kristy McNichol.
And then came Liar’s Moon (1982), The Flamingo Kid (1984) and Tex (1982).
When he starred in Rumble Fish (1983) and The Outsiders (1983), he was a true teenage heartthrob.

When he was in 1998’s There’s Something About Mary, he played against his screen idol type as he donned false teeth to star as the goofy cheeseball opposite Ben Stiller’s insecure everyman.

In 2005, Dillon co-starred in Disney’s Herbie: Fully Loaded. He then did comedy with You, Me and Dupree alongside Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson in 2006.
In 2018, Dillon played the lead role in Lars von Trier’s thriller The House That Jack Built.
