Matt Damon hilariously reveals that he kissed a mortified Scarlett Johansson AFTER she ate an onion sandwich while filming We Bought a Zoo, but quips, “Her breath smells like roses!”
Matt Damon has opened up about a hilarious kissing mistake that occurred over a decade ago when he and Scarlett Johansson were working on We Bought A Zoo.
The Oscar winner played a widowed father who buys a dilapidated zoo, and Scarlett, 38, played one of the animal keepers his character bonded with in the 2011 film.
The Oppenheimer star, 52, revealed that he had to lock lips with a mortified Scarlett after she ate an onion sandwich in an agree disagree segment on LADbible TV with co-star Emily Blunt, 40.
“I had to kiss Scarlett Johansson once,” the Oscar winner revealed.
“What happened was that we had a drink before lunch, and it was this nice two-shot that ended in a kiss,” he began.

‘And it was really good. And we went to lunch, and she and I thought it was over, but it wasn’t.
The couple had to come back after lunch and take some close-ups.
“After lunch, they were doing closer takes for the scene, which meant they were kissing again,” the Air star explained.
‘She’s like, ‘Oh sh*t. She says, “I literally just ate, like, an onion sandwich,” she revealed of the awkward moment.
“I was making fun of her the whole time about her onion breath, which I didn’t even smell,” the joker admitted.
His breath smells like roses! said the busy actor and producer.
Matt couldn’t say the same for his sleeping habits.
When asked whether to vote on whether it’s better to sleep alone or with a partner, The Talented Mr. Ripley star said he’d rather sleep with his wife Luciana Barroso, but she’d rather sleep alone.

Love Interests: Scarlett played the love interest of Matt’s widowed father. “What happened was we had a drink before lunch, and it was this cute two-shot that ended in a kiss…She’s like, ‘I literally just ate, I had an onion sandwich,'” she revealed.

Admission: Matt made the admission during an Agree to Disagree segment for LADbible TV to his Oppenheimer co-star Emily Blunt, 40. Oppenheimer opened in theaters on Friday, July 21.
“I snore and it drives her fucking crazy,” he said of his wife of about 18 years.
Matt and Emily have been friends since they worked at The Adjustment Bureau in 2011 and often vacation with their families.
Emily shares daughters Hazel, 9, and Violet, 6, with her husband, Jack Ryan star John Krasinski, 43.
Matt and Luciana are parents to Alexia, 24, Isabella, 16, Gia, 14, and Stella, 12.
