Victoria Monét took to her Instagram platform to talk about her struggle with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) this week.

The 34-year-old singer, who took her daughter Hazel to the Grammys this year, shared a photo of herself performing at Coachella on her Instagram Stories and reflected on how the condition has affected her body.

“Well… I gained a lot of weight and it went to a lot of places, lol, face, arms, belly and, most effectively… dat*ssss,” she wrote to her 1.8 million followers.

She wore a halterneck suit and chaps for the performance, singing her hit songs with an image of the moon projected behind her.

Making light of her physical changes, she added: “I’m normally very critical and frustrated because PCOS has really ruined me, but optimistically at least now there are two moons in the picture.”

About one in 10 American women of childbearing age are diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome and it affects the function of the ovaries, which affects fertility.

There are three main features of the condition: irregular ovulation, increased testosterone, and small fluid-filled sacs that form in the ovaries.

It produces a variety of symptoms including little or no period, weight gain, and excessive hair growth.

Despite the less than ideal effects, Monet didn’t let his health stop him from enjoying his time at the annual festival.

On Tuesday, she shared a collection of images from back-to-back weekends in Indio, California, on her Instagram network.

In the caption, he wrote, “Damn Coachella.” She loved you and you loved me too. Thank you so much!!!’

The grateful entertainer added: “We had the time of our lives.”

The reel highlighted her pre-show rehearsals, as well as her live performances, and she soundtracked the release of her hit song On My Mama.

It comes after the mother-of-one shared a special night with her three-year-old daughter Hazel earlier this year as they both attended the Grammys for the first time.

She said People In December, “It’s a really big deal.” I think it’s another full circle moment for me because during the pregnancy everything was really scary.

“People told me how bad a career change could be, how disruptive it could be for everything.”

Hazel was nominated for an award alongside her mother after her vocals appeared on their album Jaguar II.

Monet added of sharing the special moment with Hazel: “Pregnancy is entering uncharted territory and no one’s story is the same.” So for one of the scariest moments of my career to turn into one of the best moments of my career is truly magical. “It is an honor for me to receive this award.”
