Former MasterChef Australia star Adam Liaw has splashed out an impressive $5.26million on a stunning new home on Sydney’s North Shore.
Located in Roseville, 8 miles from the CBD, this Victorian-era building features five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Liaw, 44, bought the sprawling estate after it came up for auction with a listing price of $4.9 million. The Daily Telegraph.
Originally built in 1908, the heritage home combines modern luxury with Old World charm.
Benefiting from extensive renovations, many of its period features have been retained, including a splendid classic fireplace and ornamental leaded bay windows.

Liaw, 44, bought the sprawling estate after it came up for auction with a listing price of $4.9 million, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Heritage elements also include decorative ceilings, Kauri floors and Art Nouveau motifs.
A lavish rear extension, meanwhile, features a spacious open-plan design and includes multiple living areas and a formal dining area.
There is also an outdoor entertaining area, a resort-sized heated pool and a home office/office.
Other highlights include a game room and a huge kitchen, complete with high-end appliances and a breakfast bar.

Meanwhile, Liaw has sold the family home he’s owned for ten years in nearby Chatswood, having listed it for $3.2million.
Liaw, who rose to fame as the winner of MasterChef Australia in 2010, made headlines last month when he announced a new TV project with Poh Ling Yeow.
The celebrity chefs will team up to present the SBS series Great Australian Bites.
After becoming friends more than a decade ago when they appeared on back-to-back seasons of MasterChef, the pair will seek out local cuisine in the new reality show.
