Ed Sheeran is expected to perform at Glastonbury 2025.
The pop star, 33, last played the Worthy Farm festival in 2017, but it has now been reported that she could take up a “special slot” on Friday night before resuming her European tour.
A source said The sun on Sunday: ‘Ed loves performing at Glastonbury and being able to sing in front of so many fans on a large scale.
“He doesn’t have any big gigs scheduled in the UK next summer so this would be really special.”
The source also teased that because the Shape Of You hitmaker has so many famous friends, there are bound to be some special duets on stage at the end of June.

The source added: “He has a lot of famous friends, so he’s sure to have some famous onstage collaborations with him if it goes well.”
The Thinking Out Loud singer last took to the famous stage eight years ago, where he headlined the Pyramid Stage and performed songs including Castle on the Hill and Lego House.
At the time, he headlined alongside Radiohead and Foo Fighters, but joked that he was a little “out of place” in the lineup.
He told the BBC: “I’m definitely the one who’s out of place on that list.” But I think that’s kind of exciting!’
Little is known about the lineup for next year’s festival, but it was recently reported that bosses were trying to secure Eminem as a headliner.
Meanwhile, Oasis were thought to take Legends’ spot amid their massive comeback, but they insisted that wasn’t the case.
Organizer Emily Eavis previously revealed that the festival will take a break next year, as is tradition to take a year off every four or five terms.
She told the Glastonbury Free Press: ‘We will take a fallow year in 2026 to give the land a rest.
“And it’s always fun to plan the festival before a year off because you almost have to fit two years into one.”
At the time, he headlined alongside Radiohead and Foo Fighters, but joked that he was a little “out of place” in the lineup.
Levitating hitmaker Dua Lipa (pictured) was a headliner on this year’s bill, but the festival will take a break in 2026.
Little is known about the upcoming festival, but Oasis recently quashed rumors that they would be performing.
Bosses are believed to have contacted Real Slim Shady legend Eminem for a headlining slot.
Earlier this year, Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA were the three headliners, while country star Shania Twain took over as Legends.
Next year, Ed will go on his Mathematics Tour across Europe, but after the release of his studio albums +, ÷, x, = y – he insisted he was “done” with math-themed titles.
Speaking on Australian podcast ‘Carrie Tommy’, he said: ‘That’s it. There are only five.
“The other one will be out before I come to New Zealand (and Australia) to do the tour.”
