Mass magnitude 7.2 earthquake hits the north coast of Australia – sparking evacuations in Darwin
A huge earthquake has occurred near the north coast of Australia – triggering an evacuation by Darwin.
The earthquake with a force of 7.2 occurred Monday in a remote part of Indonesia in the Banda Sea.
Residents in Darwin who felt the shock reported it took more than two minutes.
