Police shot a man after stabbing several employees inside a Toyota car dealership.
Police in DeKalb, Illinois, repeatedly ordered the attacker to put down the knife and opened fire when he refused.
Several employees inside the Brian Bemis Toyota dealership on Sycamore Road were attacked.
City Manager Bill Nicklas said that while several staff members suffered stab wounds, none of the injuries were life-threatening.
The alleged suspect was taken to the hospital after being shot. His condition remains unclear.
Police do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
The attacker was not a staff member or employee of the dealership and was reportedly armed with several knives.
