Police in Louisville, Kentucky respond to an active gunman outside the Old National Bank.
The five-story building is located in the 300 block of East Main Street in the center of town.
The Louisville Metro Police Department has advised the public to avoid the neighborhood.
Dispatchers heard on the police scanners have indicated that the shooting took place on the first floor of the building, across from Louisville Slugger Stadium.
At least a dozen police cars and three ambulances have gone to the area, according to witnesses on social media, and are treating the incident as a mass casualty.
