Mason Mount will make his Manchester United debut in Oslo on Wednesday when Erik ten Hag’s side play their first pre-season friendly against Leeds at Ullevaal Stadion.
Mount completed his £60m move from Chelsea last week but has not played since April due to a pelvic problem that required surgery.
Lisandro Martínez also missed the last 12 games of last season due to a broken metatarsal suffered in April, but the Argentine defender was included in the 26-man squad that flew to Norway on Tuesday.
Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Fred traveled, although Anthony Martial and Donny van de Beek remained in Carrington to continue individual training programs while recovering from injury.
Tom Heaton is expected to replace David de Gea in goal against relegated Leeds after the Spanish goalkeeper confirmed at the weekend that he has left Old Trafford after 12 years.
United continue negotiations with Inter Milan to sign Andre Onana as their new No 1, and Ten Hag is keen to seal a deal for the Cameroonian goalkeeper before the club goes on tour to the US. next week.

Mount has felt at home with the team after completing his £60m transfer
United’s clash with Daniel Farke’s side opens a pre-season schedule that sees them face Lyon in Scotland next week before a tour of the United States, where they will face Arsenal, Wrexham, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
Ten Hag’s men cap off their preparation with a home game against Lens on 5 August before a clash with Athletic Bilbao in Dublin a day later.
United fans will be desperate for their first look at their only signing of this window so far, having anticipated more arrivals at this stage.
However, the addition of Mount, a major talent stolen from a rival, has fans excited with many wondering how he will be used by last season’s League Cup winners.
After joining the club last week, Mount said: “Leaving the club where you grew up is never easy, but Manchester United will provide an exciting new challenge for the next phase of my career.”
‘Everyone can see that the club has made great strides with Erik ten Hag. Having met with the coach and discussed his plans, I couldn’t be more excited for the upcoming seasons and I’m ready for the hard work to be expected here.”
