Mary Fowler and Nathan Cleary enjoyed a festive road trip to Cairns with the Manchester City star’s family.
The duo, who were recently on a romantic getaway in Europe, returned to Australia to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s Eve with their families.
Cleary, who led Penrith to their fourth consecutive premiership last season, also recently underwent surgery on a troublesome shoulder injury and was seen without his arm sling as he, Fowler and several members of his family were taking a walk through a wooded area.
Among the group was Fowler’s brother Seamus, his sisters Ciara and Louise, as well as his mother Nido.
Ciara also plays football professionally, having represented the Republic of Ireland at her age level, whilst also playing for Adelaide United.
The group was also seen relaxing by a stream in the woods and Cleary stopped to pose for a photo by the river.

The NRL star is currently recovering from shoulder surgery and was pictured alongside Fowler’s family during a walk in the woods.
Cleary and Fowler are back in Australia, with the couple spending some time in Europe in recent months.
Fowler also posted photos of her family, Cleary and a group of friends celebrating the New Year on her Instagram Story, writing: “Happy New Year.”
She captioned the Instagram post: “Cairns with the crew.”
Cleary and Fowler were also photographed making a stop at the iconic Big Mango on their road trip to Far North Queensland.
The couple has taken every opportunity to spend time together between their busy schedules.
In December, the sporting power couple enjoyed a low-key trip to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, where they watched the sun set over Tallebudgera Creek.
Fowler is currently on winter break and City are set to return to WSL action against Ipswich on January 12.
Cleary has not yet returned to preseason training as he recovers from shoulder surgery and anticipates a three- to four-month layoff.
“It’s about a three or four month recovery, so it’s been good so far,” he said.
Fowler posted two snaps of her and Cleary posing with friends and family, writing “Happy New Year.”
Fowler’s sister Louise and brother Seamus were also photographed on the woodland walk.
“I’m checking the boxes little by little, and then it will start to ramp up after Christmas,” Cleary said.
“I’m a little ahead of schedule, which is great.”
Earlier this summer, Fowler and Cleary were seen at Old Trafford watching Wigan Warriors beat Hull KR in the Super League Grand Final.
They were later seen exploring Manchester and several coastal cities in the UK before flying to Mallorca.
Cleary was also spotted in Switzerland while Fowler traveled to face the Swiss national team in Zurich with the Matildas.
Fowler has enjoyed a great start to the 2024-25 season, scoring two goals in his last four appearances for Man City.
