Mary Fowler shared a message about self-esteem as the Matildas superstar took to Instagram for the first time since shocking rumours surfaced involving her boyfriend Nathan Cleary.
It was reported over the weekend that Penrith gun Cleary is considering leaving the Panthers and the NRL for a shock move to the UK Super League, to be closer to his girlfriend Fowler.
The 21-year-old striker plays for English club Manchester City and the couple have been in a long-distance relationship since Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed their romance in November.
Panthers sources told News Corp that Cleary has not raised the issue with the club and that a monumental move would be required for the 26-year-old to pack his bags and head to England.
And in a series of photos posted to social media platform Instagram, Fowler shared a rather cryptic message for her 428,000 followers.
“But why do you want to see your worth through the eyes of a stranger?” the post reads.

She also shared selfies wearing a bronze-colored tank top and showed off her braided hair.

The latest rumour comes after Cleary’s Panthers teammate Brian To’o joked that the pair are now “engaged” during a racy post-match interview earlier this month.
Fox Sports asked To’o why Panthers fans were cheering so loudly after the Panthers’ 18-12 win over the Titans.
Cleary, who has been recovering from injury, was in attendance and host Yvonne Sampson wondered if the superstar scrum-half had angered the crowd.
To’o joked that fans were cheering for Cleary and his girlfriend Fowler, who are now “engaged.”
‘They’re chilling out and everyone’s going crazy. They’re here for Nathan and Mary, so congratulations to them, I think they got engaged.
“Congratulations to them.”
