Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese appeared in a touching TikTok alongside his filmmaker daughter Francesca.
In the clip, the couple gives viewers a tour of their family home, while acting out a version of TikToks’ popular ‘I’m a… Of Course…’ trend.
In a fun video, Francesca begins the tour in a hallway full of movie posters.
“We’re movie lovers; of course we have movie posters all over the house,” he says with a smile, only for his father to intervene from out of sight.

He tells her: ‘You’re proud of these signs. You’re happy to have these signs,’ hoping Francesca can deliver the line in a second take with enthusiasm.
“Of course we have movie posters all over our house,” he shouts excitedly as he walks across the black-and-white marble tile floor.
‘That’s too big! Take it down. Sort of in the middle,’ Scorsese shouts, unable to stop himself from directing instructions, even to his own daughter.
‘Dad… it’s a TikTok!’ Francesca says nonchalantly.
The father and daughter have a calm and playful attitude in the TikTok minute.
The TikTok, which has already racked up more than 1.8 million views, is one of several videos in which father and daughter have appeared together in recent months and, in the process, introduced her to a whole new generation of potential fans. .
Scorsese has been directing for 56 years and directed his first feature film in 1967.
The light-hearted TikToks show a very different side of the legendary director whose films are known for their disturbing and violent themes.
But Francesca appears to have influenced her father to go on social media so the public would see a different side of him.
Scorsese now operates his own Instagram account with nearly 2 million followers, where the public can enjoy watching him at work while also checking out family photos or even his dogs.

On TikTok, Scorsese continues: “We’re film lovers, so of course we have a couple of cameras anyway,” he says, taking the time to show off an old film camera.
The camera is an early 20th century Hollywood movie camera with four lenses placed on a sturdy wooden tripod.
“We are movie lovers, of course we have a director’s chair,” Francesca says next, this time showing the typical director’s chair with Scorsese’s name stamped on the backrest.

The Scorsese duo showed off a model of the automaton from their 2011 film Hugo.
Scorsese’s house is filled with movie memorabilia, books and posters.

The clip even caught the attention of TCM’s TikTok, who wrote, “We’re movie lovers, so of course we’re big fans of Francesca and her dad!”
