The classic American restaurant is celebrating the one-year anniversary of its opening at Paris Las Vegas on Saturday, August 12, and in anticipation of the event, the 82-year-old icon made an unexpected appearance over the weekend.
Stewart spoke exclusively about his DailyMail.com hotspot, revealing that the stylish space is inspired by his impressive New York estate.

“The Bedford by Martha Stewart is a popular spot for delicious drinks and delicious, elegant food in a setting that is completely reminiscent of my own home in Bedford, New York,” said Martha.
It opened in August 2022 at the Paris Las Vegas to much fanfare and has become a destination spot for visitors, all of whom hold a special place in the heart of Stewart.
“I thank all the guests who have enjoyed the restaurant and hope they return again and again,” he said.
Martha stopped by The Bedford over the weekend before the anniversary and, in true Martha Stewart fashion, put on a decadent dessert display to celebrate the milestone.

The business tycoon looked beyond fabulous with perfectly coiffed blonde hair dressed in pale lemon knitwear.
Martha beamed happily from behind a two-tiered chocolate cake garnished with curls of rich chocolate ribbons and topped with candles.
Flanked by silver, gold and white balloons, the star also posed with several members of the kitchen staff.
As a special treat, diners at The Bedford next weekend will be treated to a complimentary slice of chocolate cake for each table in honor of the anniversary.

The Bedford by Martha Stewart is the icon’s first and only restaurant and makes you feel like you are literally dining with Martha.
The design itself was inspired by her famous country house in Bedford, New York, with an impressive menu consisting of Martha’s favorite recipes and French-inspired cuisine. Before last year’s opening, Martha joked that the only difference is that the restaurant is ‘three times the size’ of her house.
The Bedford shakes up Martha-tinis and Martha-Ritas, as well as Martha’s Chard, which is its own 19 Crimes California Chardonnay, and introduces its line of Martha.com cookware available to purchase.
While the design of the 194-seat space is impressive yet understated, the star of the show at The Bedford is the food.

Stewart, the author of 99 cookbooks, doesn’t skimp when it comes to the quality of her ingredients.
The menu features house-made items and seasonal treats like caviar and truffles for the summer. Martha’s mother, Big Martha, even gets a nod at The Bedford with her world famous pierogis.
‘I can’t stress enough that the food and drinks are on par with what I serve in my own home. I love good food, excellent preparation and beautiful ingredients and The Bedford incorporates all of these things together with the most beautiful restaurant to enjoy,” Martha told DailyMail.com last year.
