Martha Stewart has admitted that it was “very easy” to keep her infidelity a secret for 30 years, after she recently confessed to being unfaithful to her ex-husband Andrew Stewart, from whom she separated in 1987.
The housework expert, 83, shocked her fans after revealing she went off track during their 29-year union in an explosive trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary, Martha.
Speaking at the launch party for her 100th book in Manhattan on Wednesday night, Martha made the joke about her infidelity when her friend Lee Brian Schrager joked: “If you’re looking for ideas (for another book), maybe you could talk about how (You had) an affair that happened 30 years ago and you kept it a secret, how is that possible?
Taking the microphone from Lee’s hand, Martha, who looked very glamorous in an elegant gold embroidered jacket and matching pants, responded with a smile on her face: “Very easy, you have to be circumspect.”
As he handed the microphone back to Lee, he joked: ‘Uncircumcised, circumspect! We got it!’ before suggesting that Martha and her close friend Snoop Dogg could “write a book about filming” after seeing them smoking outside together.

Martha admits to cheating on her husband Andrew Stewart in her upcoming Netflix documentary, and now says it was “very easy” to keep it a secret.
Taking the microphone out of his hand again, Martha told him, “We’re doing a cookbook… that includes that,” to which Lee responded, “I had no doubt, Martha.”
Snoop, 52, also took the opportunity to say a few words about Martha at his book launch, telling the crowd at the Four Twenty Five in New York City: “I just want to say that Martha is a very beloved friend and family to me.”
“So my team and I jumped off a plane and drove straight here because we wanted to support her, we love everything she stands for.”
“One hundred books is a real stretch, she showed me how to write books, I have two cookbooks at the moment so I’m following her example and trying to be a better person by being in a relationship with a great woman like this.” ”the rapper continued.
‘As you can see, we are real friends, this is not television, this is not made up, we really care about each other. “So, Martha, I just want to tell you that I love you, thank you and I appreciate you,” he added.
Speaking of her achievement, Martha said in a speech: ‘It is a milestone to have worked and written so many beautiful books filled with so much information and I consider myself a teacher and I have much more to teach, so I am always busy.’
Fans will get a glimpse into her life in the upcoming Netflix documentary Martha, where she comes clean about her cheating.
In the trailer for the documentary, Martha said: ‘Young women, listen to my advice, if you’re married and your husband starts cheating on you, he’s a piece of s**t.’ Get out of that marriage.’

‘Didn’t you have an affair from the beginning?’ The producer joked, to which Martha responded, ‘Yeah, but I don’t think Andy ever knew about that.’
Martha began dating Andy, who has been her only husband to date, when she was just 19 and he was 23, after they set up a blind date.
The couple married in 1961 and welcomed their daughter Alexis in 1965.
However, by 1987, the couple had separated and their divorce was finalized in 1990.
