A star of Married at First Sight had some words of choice about his wife's family as they tried to decide if they wanted to move from Dallas to Houston.
The episode of the Lifetime reality series on Tuesday night, Tristan Thompson and Mia Bally, both of 29, celebrated their month-long marriage by making a list of pros and cons about the potential movement, which would benefit their mentoring work and I would bring them to his family in Houston.
"There's no benefit in staying here." I would rather be with my family than with yours, "she said boldly to Mia." My family is much more relaxed. Your family is more intense. "
Big decision: Tristan Thompson and Mia Bally, both 29, discussed moving Dallas to Houston on Tuesday night in the Lifetime series episode.
Benefits and Risks: After only one month of marriage, the two made a list of pros and cons to see if they should move from Dallas to Houston.
Tristan explained in his testimony that, even though it is his decision, most of the problems they were dealing with were arguments of his family.
Mia's father and sister thought it was ridiculous that he was trying to organize a life-changing movement after just meeting for a month.
Although Mia did not seem too offended by Tristan's comments about her family, she admitted that the potential movement added another level of stress to her marriage.
However, after seeing the list of benefits written in front of her, Mia realized that moving could be the right decision for them as a couple.
"I can see in black and white what would be best for me and for us," he said. "I'm not 100 percent sure, but I hope he knows I would make a massive change in my life."
What what? Tristan bravely told Mia that she would rather be in Houston with her family instead of staying in Dallas with her "intense" relatives.
Against: Mia's father and sister (pictured) thought it was ridiculous to try to organize a life-changing movement only after they met for a month
Decision: "I'm not 100 percent sure, but I hope he knows I would make a massive change in my life," Mia said in her testimony.
The writing on the board was clearly in Tristan's favor, but he did not want to press her to move. Finally they decided to visit Houston together before making their final decision.
Later, they celebrated their one-month wedding anniversary with a romantic gondola ride.
As they prepared to make a big decision about their future, Amber Martorana, 36, tried to cook for her husband Dave Flaherty, 37, in honor of his first month of marriage.
Dave was touched that Amber was leaving her comfort zone and making dinner, but he was certainly stressed as he watched her cook, especially when he did not wash his hands after touching raw chicken.
& # 39; Just watching Amber's raw chicken fingers Touching things in the kitchen makes me a little scared, "he told the cameras." I'm literally watching Amber touch things and take mental notes of what I need to come back and disinfect later. "
Leaving her comfort zone: Amber Martorana, 36, tried to cook for her husband Dave Flaherty, 37, in honor of her first month of marriage
Looking back: to celebrate his one-month anniversary, Dave took Amber to the ranch where they got married
Greetings: While they were lying on the first bed they once slept in, they drank some champagne and watched their wedding video
However, dinner was surprisingly successful, and Dave rewarded Amber with a surprise of his own.
To celebrate her one-month anniversary, she took her to the ranch where they got married, to remember their first meeting.
"I had no idea I would even think of something like this," Amber said of the romantic surprise.
While they were lying on the first bed in which they slept together, they drank some champagne and watched the video of their wedding.
Like Dave and Amber, Bobby Dodd, 27, and Danielle Bergman, 30, also expanded the romance in honor of their one-month wedding anniversary.
Bobby had Danielle shoot the skeet for the first time, and he was as attentive as ever as he helped her feel comfortable holding a shotgun.
Helping hand: Bobby Dodd, 27, took his wife, Danielle Bergman, 30, to clay pigeon for the first time in honor of their first anniversary
Thoughtful: Danielle recalled how Bobby's goal was to go to all 30 MBL baseball stadiums and gave him a board to track the ones he visited
Like a movie: Bobby then took his wife to the drive-in, and when he went to buy popcorn, he placed candles, pillows, and flowers on the bed of his truck.
When the two exchanged gifts, Bobby surprised her with a DNA test for her dog, something she had always wanted to do.
She also wrote 23 things that she loves about her in honor of them saying "Yes, I want" on the 23rd of the month.
Meanwhile, Danielle recalled how Bobby's goal was to go to all 30 MBL baseball stadiums and gave him a board to keep track of who he visited.
He cleverly stuttered Safeco Field in Seattle and explained that he already got tickets for a game that will be played during his next visit to Washington.
"The last four weeks have undoubtedly been the best four weeks of my life," he told the cameras. "We absolutely enjoy everything we do together and that is irreplaceable."
Bobby later took his wife to the drive-in, and when she went to buy popcorn, she placed candles, pillows and flowers on the bed of her truck, so she could comfortably watch her wedding video on the big screen. .
"I'm so grateful that Bobby is my husband," Danielle said effusively. "We are so perfect for each other, so I could not imagine it any other way."
