Married to a NYPD lieutenant who is accused of sexually assaulting his co-worker-turned-lover – WhatsNew2Day

Date:

A New York Police Department property lieutenant has been accused of sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend, ordering threesomes, and threatening to throw her under a train if she spoke about their relationship.

Amy Ventura, a 40-year-old single mother and civil servant in the property division, filed a lawsuit Tuesday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

She is suing Lt. Wilder Lucas, 41, and the city for unspecified damages alleging sexual harassment and discrimination.

in court documents obtained by him New York PostVentura said she began dating Lucas in April 2021.

She told her he was divorced.

The relationship soured after five months, with Ventura claiming he had become aggressive and vicious.

Asked about the lawsuit, Lt. Wilder Lucas, 41, said he had no idea what it was about.

Ventura’s attorney, John Scola, said speaking to the paper.

“I have no idea what you’re talking about,” said Lucas, who was contacted by The Post.

Ventura said, in court documents, that Lucas demanded she perform oral sex on him after a date at a shooting range in May 2021, where he taught her to shoot a gun.

When she refused his request, he became angry, as she claimed, and shouted, “Shut up!”

Shortly before their breakup in September 2021, Lucas invited Ventura to the Dominican Republic.

Upon landing, however, she claimed he brought three other women with them and ignored her, calling her “damn annoying”.

After the trip, she confronted him, she claimed, but he told her, “I can’t talk—I’m a married man.”

Ventura then claims that Lucas sexually assaulted her in his office, while he was working, in August 2022.

She claims, according to the newspaper, that Lucas grabbed her by the hair, pulled her behind his desk and forced her to perform oral sex while his office door was wide open.

Court documents indicate that the incident was “against her will,” but Ventura felt “paralyzed and utterly powerless to stop the violent attack.”

Putting on her suit, Ventura says she felt “powerless” to speak out against him, despite him making inappropriate comments and repeatedly saying he wanted a threesome with her.

She claimed he was “honestly having fun” which made her feel uncomfortable.

At the end of 2022, when news of Ventura and Lucas’ affair began to spread, he threatened her and demanded that she never mention their relationship.

He allegedly told Ventura, “I’m going to kill you,” and threatened to “push her in front of a train.”

He also demanded that she delete evidence of their relationship from her phone and from the cloud — which she did out of “fear for her life,” according to the documents.

“As a single mother, she (Ventura) lives in constant fear of her financial situation deteriorating as a result of threats from Defendant Lucas that she could terminate her employment given his position,” the suit said.

An NYPD spokesperson said: ‘Sex discrimination is prohibited by federal, state and city laws as well as department policies, and the NYPD takes all accusations of such conduct seriously.

The New York Police Department thoroughly investigates all complaints it receives, and offers several reporting options to NYPD employees, including anonymity.

“Management does not tolerate discrimination of any form and is committed to respecting the work environments of our diverse workforce.”

A spokesperson for the city’s law department said the agency “will review the lawsuit as soon as it is heard.”

The lawsuit was filed on the same day that it emerged that Texas 911 dispatcher Kristel Perez had been given time off to her fellow texters.

Perez, an overnight dispatcher at the Bexar County Sheriff’s Department in San Antonio, spoke with a sergeant and deputy at length about previous alleged attempts.

Other messages sent by Perez, 38, revealed by husband Giancarlo Perez, 41, contain equal gender correspondence — between her and four other officers working on the force, as well as an officer in a nearby department.

Krystle Perez, 38, who was an overnighter with the Bexar County Sheriff's Department in San Antonio, has been placed on leave for snide messages — which saw her speak at length with both a sergeant and deputy about alleged past attempts.

Sergeant Reynaldo Salinas of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office sent a text message to Perez indicating that they previously met for sex.

Representative Juan Leal above sent lewd messages - although there was no indication that he had ever met Perez. He and Salinas are on vacation, and have been told that they will most likely be fired

One of those officers, Representative Juan Leal, has been placed on unpaid leave as a result of the latest revelations, while another deputy, Jason Jarvis, has been hit with a proposed 30-day suspension.

Sergeant Reynaldo Salinas has also been placed on unpaid leave, as the department continues to screen scathing text messages.

The Bexar County sheriff’s offices have warned Salinas, Leal and Perez that they likely lose their jobs.

They deny misbehavior on duty, but the Sheriff is now investigating to see if this is true.

Letters to Salinas indicate that he met Perez for sex, while Jarvis’ wife—now divorcing him—said he admitted to having an affair with her.

Many of the letters leaked to the department by Perez’s jilted husband are of a highly sexual nature, while others recount Perez’s past exploits with two officers in painstaking detail.

“She was the love of my life and that was absolutely mind-boggling and heartbreaking,” 41-year-old Giancarlo said. he told KABB San Antonio during the Weekend.

He said his marriage imploded in December when he discovered texts on his wife’s phone.

“I was in disbelief,” he says in the clip, at the same moment he appears about to gasp as he recalls the shocking discovery.

The drama is reminiscent of the scandal that engulfed the La Vergne Police Department in Tennessee earlier this year.

Married cop Maegan Hall was fired after she had sex with six of her colleagues – but her husband, Jedidah Hall, stood by her.

The couple is currently trying to save their marriage.
