Linda De Sousa Abreu, 30, from south-west London, was pictured wearing a gold band on the ring finger of her left hand as she went shopping on Wednesday.

She was photographed wearing a tight-fitting top, grey sweatpants, a baseball cap and sunglasses as she walked down the sidewalk with another unidentified woman.

The mother is currently out on bail after being charged with misconduct in public office for “engaging in a sexual act with an inmate in a prison cell.”

She was filmed on a mobile phone allegedly having sex in a cell with convicted burglar Linton Weirich, 36.

The Metropolitan Police have launched an urgent investigation after officers became aware of a video that was allegedly filmed inside HMP Wandsworth between 26 and 28 June.

In April he was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for robbery after stealing goods worth £65,000 from a safe in a luxury flat in Kensington.

Ms De Sousa Abreu was arrested at Heathrow Airport on June 29 before she could board a flight to see relatives in Madrid, a court previously heard.

He was attempting to travel on a Portuguese passport, which was confiscated by the Metropolitan Police.

Ms De Sousa Abreu appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday 1 July.

Dressed in a grey tracksuit, she spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address.

Prosecutor Niamh McDonagh told the court: “Ms De Sousa Abreu was arrested at Heathrow Airport where she had booked a flight to Madrid. I believe she has relatives living there.

‘The police confiscated a Portuguese passport from her when they arrested her. She is a Portuguese citizen and holds a Portuguese passport.’

In her defence, Gayathri Yogarajah said Ms De Sousa Abreu had notified HMP Wandsworth of her travel plans, which were duly passed on to Scotland Yard.
