A married Upper West Side financial analyst has been accused of frivolously asking for oral sex during an interview with a babysitter for his one-year-old daughter.
The 27-year-old nanny who asked to come in, Dawan, told the New York Post that her March 8 meeting with Jason Kuperman, 43, at his West 58th Street apartment left her feeling scared and violated.
Dawan told the outlet she was alone with the 43-year-old man when he took her on a tour of his lavish home, which sold for $297,000 in 2013, and when they got to the bathroom he allegedly made the obscene request.
She claims that while she was there, Kuperman showed her a cushion and said it would be good for oral sex and allegedly asked, ‘Do I like blowjob? Have I ever done that or not?
Married Upper West Side financial analyst Jason Kuperman (left) has been accused of frivolously soliciting oral sex during an interview with a babysitter for his and his wife Sara’s one-year-old daughter (right).
The nanny did not respond to the alleged proposition, but was surprised when Kuperman made the lewd request again.
‘Don’t you do the blow job?’ she claims she said.
‘(He then) asked me ‘will I do it or not?’ He said ‘No, I don’t’.
A terrified Dawan then secretly began recording the interaction with Kuperman allegedly providing the recording to the New York Post.
In the damning recording it is claimed that she demanded to know why he had asked her such an inappropriate question to which he replied: ‘It’s like cleaning out the closet, doing laundry… You don’t have to. He was just asking a question. You do not have to do it.
Dawan is reportedly heard struggling to open the apartment door, and when he finally escaped, he reported the incident to the police.
The New York police confirmed a complaint about a woman being asked for sex during a job interview at Kuperman’s address.
In the aftermath of the rape incident, several women who read a warning about Kuperman on Facebook spoke about their own experiences working with the 43-year-old.
‘I am part of a Brazilian group for childcare jobs in the city and 3 girls said the same thing. They were afraid to say anything or go to the police because of their immigration status,” wrote one.
In another case, a woman from Brazil said she had exchanged messages with Kuperman about a possible job when he told her she was “too beautiful and she wouldn’t be able to control herself.”
Kuperman, a member of at least one of the Facebook groups where the allegations were posted, has since deleted his social media accounts.
A 22-year-old Manhattan resident who spoke anonymously to the New York Post said she had worked for the family for about a month and was also the subject of lewd and suggestive comments.

She claims that he had said that she was “too attractive to be a nanny”.
‘On my last day, the father grabbed my butt in front of the mother. That was my last straw,’ he claimed.
She said she quit the job via text message the next day, but Kuperman kept trying to reach her.
I’m totally happy for you because you found a better job. No hard feelings at all… No need for ghosting or blocking. I’m happy for you. I would love to stay on good terms,’ she reportedly wrote on Oct. 7.
Sara Freizer Kuperman vehemently denied the allegations, telling the outlet: “All I can say is that none of this is true.”
‘These accusations are false. Jason is a loving husband and a fantastic father.’
A 21-year-old woman from Manhattan said she texted Kuperman about a babysitting job and asked to meet him in a public space for an interview instead of this house, as he had requested.
“It sounds like you’re scared and immature, so let’s forget about it,” he is said to have replied, according to a text seen by The New York Post.
The woman claimed: “I take precautions like this because I’m no match for a grown man once I step behind that closed door.”
“I immediately had a bad feeling and didn’t go through with the position despite my desperation and the rent I had to pay.”

The Kupermans have denied their allegations, calling them “completely and categorically false.”
Kuperman denied his allegations calling them “completely and categorically false” to the New York Post.
‘Some are from people I never even met. Others are from people who texted me after their interview saying how nice it was to meet me and that they look forward to working with me soon,” he said in a statement to the outlet.
“I feel terrible if I unintentionally made someone uncomfortable with a misunderstood comment or a bad attempt at humor.
“As the father of a daughter, I fully support equality and our shared social responsibilities. Although these accusations are not true, I will take this as an opportunity to reflect on how I can play a more active role in working to improve our society for my daughter’s future.’
