Newly married bride-to-be Lyndall Grace tearfully opened up about her ongoing battle with cystic fibrosis, a debilitating disease that affects the lungs.
The Perth-based accountant, 27, said when she was a child she was told she would not live to be 30, but everything changed after the launch of a life-prolonging drug last year.

I was like, “Oh my God, I can get married.” She said: When you’ve been waiting your entire adult life to allow yourself to think about marriage, you simply don’t want to wait any longer.
I want to find someone who loves hard and faithfully and isn’t afraid of messy things.
“I want to build a nice house in which to spend the rest of my new many years,” she told the newspaper.

The blonde beauty opened up about her condition last year in a trailer for the upcoming series X, making a tearful confession as she is shown getting ready to walk down the aisle.
“I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis when I was three weeks old,” she tells the producers.
“How can I ask someone to be with me forever when I’m forever so short of their lives?” she asks before bursting into tears.

Now that her condition is being treated, Lyndall said her main priority is finding a husband

Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder in which sufferers develop “excessively thick and sticky mucus inside the lungs, airways, and gastrointestinal tract.”
